Founded in the summer of 1999, The Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (GRCPAAA) is a non-profit (Sec. 501 (c)3 of the IRS Code) organization whose purpose is:
- To bring together graduates of the Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy to enhance the relations between the community and the police force
- To share the views of the Garden Ridge Police Department with other citizens to improve the efficiency of law enforcement in Garden Ridge, Texas
- To organize exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
