As an official IRS Section 501 (c)3 Corporation, the Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association has a Board of Directors elected each year, along with a number of other volunteer leadership positions that help run the organization. In addition to the Board of Directors, there are a number of other volunteers that assist with various aspects of running the organization. Collectively this group is sometimes referred to as the Executive Committee. They include the following folks:
Bi-monthly Meetings
The Executive Committee meets every other month on odd numbered months (Jan, Mar, May …), normally two (2) weeks prior to the regular membership meetings. The Executive Committee meetings are held at the Garden Ridge Police Department, with a scheduled start time of 3pm.
NOTE: Any Regular member in good standing is welcome to attend these meetings. If you do plan to attend the meeting, it is a good idea to send an email to secretary@grcpaaa.com to verify the date/time and location of the meeting. Depending on attendance, the location may change to accommodate the attendees. Meetings are also posted on the event calendar here.
