Corporate Membership Introduction

The Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (GRCPAAA) recognizes that the business community is vital to Garden Ridge. In an effort to help build high-quality relationships between the Garden Ridge Police Department (GRPD) and the business community, the GRCPAAA has added a corporate membership program to its organization. The purpose of corporate memberships is to enhance public safety through educational opportunities and continued exposure through repeated communication and networking opportunities.

Acknowledgement

Corporate members will benefit in additional ways to further business opportunities with added networking opportunities. Some of these opportunities are as follows:

1. The corporate member is invited to the bi-monthly GRCPAAA membership meetings where the corporate member will have one opportunity per calendar year to formally introduce themselves and promote their company’s mission and values.
2. The corporate member is invited to the bi-monthly GRCPAAA membership social dinners.
3. The corporate member is invited to the annual police appreciation dinner with two meals at no cost where nearly the entire GRCPAAA membership and the police department gather for fellowship.
4. The corporate member is invited to be present for special community interactions and events sponsored by the GRCPAAA.
5. The corporate member is encouraged to participate in special team-building volunteer opportunities during GRCPAAA-sponsored events and fundraisers.
6. The corporate member is afforded an annual opportunity to gather staff for a team photograph with at least one GRPD police officer.
7. Each year, the corporate member will receive a plaque in recognition of the GRCPAAA membership contribution for display at the member’s office or business location.
8. Each corporate member will be featured on the GRCPAAA website with each member’s digital imaging, hyperlink to the business website, and a featured story of how the business benefits and enhances the Garden Ridge community.
9. The corporate members will also be featured alongside the other corporate members on a banner where their company logo will be displayed. This banner will be displayed at GRCPAAA-sponsored outreach events, educational seminars, and fundraisers.
10. During educational seminars and specific outreach events, each corporate member will be offered the opportunity to have a table to provide brochures and/or promotional materials for the purpose of business promotion.
11. Each corporate member will have the opportunity to publish a featured story once per year which highlights more about the corporate member to the membership.
