Thank YOU!

In addition to our sponsors, we would like to thank the many volunteers who helped make the show a success. There are quite a few moving parts with an event like this, and we are very thankful for all the support we get from these folks, as well as those in the community and everyone who came out to enjoy the show. See you next year!

2021 Car Show

Each year, the Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association holds an open car show as our primary fundraising event of the year.

Beginning in 2021, the show takes place on the 4th Saturday in October. Just like in past years, it is a fun filled event for the whole family! As the name indicates, the event centers around a car show, where you’ll see many different makes and models of cars and trucks.

From the classics to more recent models, you’ll see a wide variety of vehicles from all over the central and south Texas area. But awesome cars and trucks are not all you’ll get to see at this event each year, because we also have a craft show featuring plenty of local artisans selling their hand made goods, various activities for kids of all ages, as well as plenty of food and drinks. And if all of this isn’t enough already, the event is FREE to all the spectators! That’s right, free parking and free admission to all of our guests.

Special Thanks

Our Sponsors

We rely heavily on our sponsors to fund the event each year. Through their generous donations we are able to provide event t-shirts for the participants, trophies and plaques for the winners, golf carts to transport spectators to and from the parking lots, and so much more.

GRES Fall Festival – Volunteers Needed!

The Garden Ridge Elementary School (GRES) has asked the GRCPAAA for volunteers to assist CISD Resource Officers with pedestrians crossing between the GRES campus and the City parking lots.

The event is this Saturday, October 30th, from 11am-3pm at the GRES.

We’re doing this as a thank you to GRES for changing the date of their Fall Festival from the same day as the Car Show.  Here is the link for this event:
